Doug Wilson Family Scholarship Endowment

The Doug Wilson Family Scholarship is open to all applicants regardless of race, color, creed, or sex with the following qualifications:

• Applicant must exhibit academic promise, with a desire to pursue a technical two-year degree in one of the following public service professions: Health Science, Nursing, Police Science, or Environmental Science.
• The application for the scholarship should be accompanied by at least one letter of recommendation representing an organization who has benefited from the applicant’s involvement in volunteer service activities or commitment to serve the local area.
• All applicants will write a brief essay outlining how his/her career goals will enable him/her to make a contribution to his community.
• If multiple candidates are eligible, financial need will be the determining factor for selection.
• A summary of information about the finalist will be submitted to the donors for final approval before the scholarship is offered to the applicant.
